♪♫ Worship Songs for Sunday,
Come Thou Almighty King
Rejoice, the Lord is King
We Bow Down
Before the Throne of God Above
Gracious Father
We Exalt Thee
Victory in Jesus
Come, Thou Almighty King
Come, Thou almighty
King,
Help us Thy Name to sing, help us to praise!
Father all glorious, o’er all victorious,
Come and reign over us, Ancient of Days!
Come,
Thou incarnate Word,
Gird on Thy mighty sword, our prayer attend!
Come, and Thy people bless, and give Thy Word success,
Spirit of holiness, on us descend!
Come,
holy Comforter,
Thy sacred witness bear in this glad hour;
Thou Who almighty art, now rule in every heart,
And ne’er from us depart, Spirit of pow’r!
To
Thee, great One in Three,
Eternal praises be, hence, evermore;
Thy sov’reign majesty may we in glory see,
And to eternity love and adore!
Rejoice, the Lord is
King
Rejoice, the Lord is King,
Your Lord and King adore;
Rejoice, give thanks and sing
And triumph evermore:
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice.
His kingdom cannot fail;
He rules o'er earth and heav'n;
The keys of death and hell
Are to our Jesus giv'n:
Jesus, the Savior reigns,
The God of truth and love:
When He had purged our stains
He took His seat above:
We Bow Down
You are Lord of creation and Lord of
my life
Lord of the land and the sea
You were Lord of the heavens before
there was time
And Lord of all Lords You will be
We bow down and we worship You, Lord
We bow down and we worship You, Lord
We bow down and we worship You, Lord
Lord of all Lords You will be
You are King of creation and King of
my life
King of the land and the sea
You were King of the heavens before
there was time
And King of all Kings You will be
Before the throne of
God above
Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea,
A great high Priest whose Name is Love,
Who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is written on His heart.
I know that while in heaven He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart,
No tongue can bid me thence depart.
When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end to all my sin.
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free,
For God, the Just, is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me,
To look on Him and pardon me.
Behold Him there, the risen Lamb,
My perfect, spotless righteousness,
The great unchangeable I AM,
The King of glory and of grace.
One with Himself, I cannot die,
My soul is purchased by His blood.
My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ, my Savior and my God!
Gracious Father
Gracious
Father, we approach You
As You reign from Heaven’s throne—
Knowing it is not us kneeling
That You see, but Christ alone.
For atonement, Lord, we thank You—
For the love unfathomed, free
Flowing from the wounds we gave You
On the cross of Calvary.
Gracious Father, we approach You
And we come through Christ alone.
Gracious Father, we adore You
As You reign in majesty,
Knowing You forgave, exalted,
So we share Your royalty.
The rich blessings You have lavished,
And the gifts for service, too,
Now in sacrifice of worship
Lord, we give them back to You.
Gracious Father, we adore You
Crowned and robed in majesty.
Gracious Father, we proclaim You
As You reign eternally,
Knowing that the name of Jesus
Few now reverence willingly.
There is coming a great judgement—
Oh, we cannot see it now—
Every tongue will there confess Him
And then every knee will bow.
Gracious Father, we will praise You
As You reign eternally.
We Exalt Thee
For Thou, O Lord, art high above all
the earth,
Thou art exalted far above all Gods.
For Thou, O Lord, art high above all
the earth,
Thou art exalted far above all Gods.
We exalt Thee, we exalt Thee,
We exalt Thee, O Lord!
We exalt Thee, we exalt Thee,
We exalt Thee, O Lord!
(I exalt Thee…)
Victory in Jesus
I heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood's atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.
I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow'r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,"
And somehow Jesus came and bro't
To me the victory.
I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory.
